Deadline and info for 2016 MSA Awards
Dear Mycological Colleagues,
For over 20 years the Mycological Society of America has been celebrating excellence in research, teaching, and service among its membership by recognizing outstanding students, distinguished teachers, and accomplished researchers. This is a call for nominations and applications for MSA Awards and Fellowships for 2016.
We have two NEW awards this year:
The Robert W. Lichtwardt Award: $1000 for students to study fungal symbioses with arthropods (ranging from parasitic to mutualistic).
Translational Mycology Research Award: $1250-$2500 for graduate students and postdocs to support studies on the use of fungi to solve environmental, industrial or medical problems, advancing better solutions than currently practiced.
Be part of our celebration of mycology and mycologists! Apply or nominate a researcher or a teacher by FEBRUARY 15th, 2016.
